Well, apart from a fairly crummy start (a test? who's silly idea was that?).
First off I went to "Surprise" Jess in London, only she kind of knew I was coming, and when my phone ran out of battery and I had to call from a pay-phone, the surprise was spoiled a little, but it was still really nice!
1st off we went to do some shopping in central London, as I had only brought the clothes I was wearing (I'm silly like that), and that was very nice. We had McDonald's for tea, and then we went to see "Frost/Nixon" which was pretty darn entertaining. Then we went home and I tried to get my projector to work, but couldn't, so eventually we gave up and went to bed (we were both pretty tired by this point).
We had quite a lazy morning (with sausage and egg butties for breakfast :) ) and then we went to explore the Chinese New Year festivities, which was really good fun as well :) Unfortunately, it was then getting on a bit and time to head back to Jess's to pick up my stuff and head home. I did however get a bit longer because the train was later than I thought, so we watched an episode of the IT Crowd :):):) )
In the intervening time it started to snow stupidly heavily, and by the time I'd walked from Jess's to the station, my coat was practically white!!! Anywho, I slept most of the way back to Cambridge, then as I got back to college (after a hair raising bike ride, and also seeing someone had tried to steal my bike) there was a massive snowball fight in Cripps court. I sprinted upstairs, dumped my stuff and waded into the fray!!!
About 3 hours later (1 am...? I'm not 100% sure....) we had thoroughly beaten the MCR and I collapsed, utterly exhausted, into bed, only to be rudely awakened a few short hours later by my alarm clock... time to go rowing!!
BUT apparently we can't row in the snow (Something silly about hypothermia...? Pah!), so I did a 2 x 5k erg instead.... urk....
Anywho, all this frivolity has left me with an excess of work to do, so here I go!!!
